Minimum of 1- 3 year related experience required

Education:
-High School graduate
-Successful completion of Medical Terminology course and a passing score on the examination. Or may substitute 2 years previous specific work experience with medical terminology for the Medical Terminology course certification. (Example: HIM Tech, Paralegal, Medical Biller, Medical Secretary, Patient Access Representative)

Qualifications: Clerical experience preferred
Special Skills: Works with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers.
Physical Requirements: Light-Medium While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) required to stand, sit, and walk; frequently to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. Position
Summary: The Clinical Secretary performs clerical duties on a nursing unit, answers the telephone, relays messages and acts as a receptionist receiving and directing visitors and ambulatory patients.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
