Quality Manager
An international manufacturer of automotive components near St.
George, South Carolina is looking for a Quality Manager to lead the development and maintenance of their TS16949 quality management system.
Face-to-face experience with OEM and/or Tier 1 automotive customers is required.
Appropriate skills and knowledge include TS16949, APQP, PPAP, internal auditing, third-party audits, root cause analysis, statistically designed experiments, complaint investigations, SPC, calibration management and advanced statistical analysis.
The Quality Manager and a staff of 2-3 people will be responsible for all quality-related issues in the plant.
In addition to supervisory and administrative duties, the Quality Manager is expected to provide shop floor quality engineering support.
A 4-year degree from an accredited university is required, along with at least 3 years of quality management experience.
An engineering degree is preferred.
A solid understanding of TS16949 is absolutely required.
Travel is expected to be less than 25%.
