Position Summary: The Certified Activities Director will plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Activities Programs to ensure all patients/residents assessed needs are met. They will schedule and coordinate activities for patients and residents in the facility and out in the community. The Certified Activities Director will lead the Activities department in developing, administrating, and coordinating department policies; as well as develop department budget and monitors expenditures to stay within that budget.  Qualifications: Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively and accomplish goals 2+ years of experience in an Activity Assistant or Director position in long term care Activities Director Certification (Certified Recreational Therapist) required Must be detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required Must have at least one of the following qualifications: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major area of concentration in recreation, creative arts therapy, therapeutic recreation, art, art education, psychology, sociology, or occupational therapy; A high school diploma and three years of experience in resident activities in a health care facility; Holds current certification from the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals, or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification.   Benefits: All of our employees are valued and receive a competitive hourly rate; our full time team members are also offered a robust and comprehensive benefit package which includes:  Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Coverage Short and Long-Term Disability Options Tuition Reimbursement & Nursing Loan Repayment Programs Paid Time Off DailyPay option available! - Get your pay, when you need it. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
